2011 – 2023 | Traditional Construction Era
Keep Constructions was founded in 2011 (Jerissam Constructions Pty Ltd) with a focus on high-end houses in Sydney ($2-10m+).

Over the next 12 years, Keep built more than 20 new homes and completed over 100 renovations. They become known for their modern architectural designs and high-end finishes.

In 2021, there was a skilled trade shortage and traditional construction costs increased.

Jeremy started his career at Downer and learned about civils and project management. After 9 years, he left the company as a Senior Project Manager. Meanwhile, Clarissa was studying interior design. As a team, Clarissa designed the projects and Jeremy built them. They completed 4 projects in New Zealand before moving to Australia.
OUR STORY
To meet the growing population’s demand for housing, the company pivoted to more efficient construction techniques. Taking inspiration from the success of European (Swedish) modular construction methods, Keep began building single modules in our factory in Alexandria.
2023 – 2024 | Modular Mini Spaces Era

Keep Mini Spaces developed its fully volumetric capabilities and initially built small home additions.

Positive feedback from customers, recognition for quality and the sheer demand for additional products spurred Keep to continue developing and investing in refining Modular Construction techniques. The team developed the ability to join fully volumetric modules and stack modules which allows for larger and more complex structures.
Keep was bursting at the seams in the Alexandria factory.

Anthony and Theo quit their real estate investment jobs and were working on modular developments. They attended the October 2024 open day and were impressed with Keep's capability. In November 2024, they went into partnership with Jeremy and Clarissa.

With a view to build fully volumetric homes, we moved into our new factory in Croydon which is much larger and with higher clearance.
2024 – Now | Homes in Croydon
Keep now focuses on building and delivering architecturally designed, environmentally conscious homes. We can do this faster and more affordably compared to traditional construction given our controlled factory environment.

We’re able to implement high-end building techniques in our factory that are typically more costly for on-site traditional construction. For example, on all our builds we use over-engineered full penetration welded steel framing as standard.

At the start of 2025, we have 15 full-time employees and can deliver over 50 houses per year.
